SAPPHIRE Decked! A Deck By Deck TourOf Louis Cruises MV SAPPHIRE ...

[Decked] Riviera Deck was originally devoted entirely to public rooms, but at some point in the ship's early Princess career, a suite of cabins was added in front of the Observation Lounge (the lounge, itself, was replaced with cabins during ITALIA's Costa career). Aft of the forward Riviera Deck vestibule, there was a small card room and boutique on the port side (altered in later years) and the very handsome Bar on the starboard side, leading to the chic but very brown Grand Salon, with its angled bulkheads, chairs and ceiling recesses.

[Poker Articles] With about twenty players to bust until the money I raised 3x from the hijack with 67 off-suit and the button pushes for about twice what I had put in and then the big stacked big blind calls him and I figured I at least had live cards so I insta-called as well. The flop came T45 rainbow and the big blind bets about one fourth of the pot.

[Shaister Miester Do Da] If an opponent held A-Q he probably would have raised before the flop, called on the flop and raised your bet on the turn. An opponent holding A-7, A-4, Q-4 or Q-7 would probably have raised on the turn.

[Funny Stuff is all around] If you have one pair and you figure him for two pair or better, you are usually drawing to catch one of five cards that will allow you to make three of a kind of pair your kicker. The size of the pot doesn’t usually support this kind of draw and in these kinds of situations you’re better off releasing your hand, even if it is top pair with a good kicker.

[Daily Hand Quiz] I think they’re limping with hands they don’t want to raise with but don’t feel like they can fold, and then also with AA sometimes. Any other strong hand, they’re raising - tight players can’t stand the thought of limping KK or AK and seeing a bad flop.

[Cardschat Poker Forums] I would rather have 89 suited than a low pp (9 and under), I have more outs. The price of seeing the flop is the key of course, but at tight tables I have had good success with these hands.
