[Drowned at the River] It was supposed to be a trio, initially, but one of the participants was stricken with a case of Friday Night Paralysis. It’s a crippling disease that can strike the moment you sit down in a comfortable chair after a long week of work, and kick off your shoes. My theory is that when the shoes come off, all of the blood rushes into your feet, leaving you light-headed and causes you to pass out.

[Wisconsin Personal Injury Lawyers Blog] Car accidents in Wisconsin are a common occurrence...: (3) Caps on the amount of damages recoverable in a malpractice case never have and never will lower medical malpractice insurance rates for doctors. See the January 2003 note published in the Insurance Industry's own journal, Insurance Journal: Study by West Virginia Lawmakers shows that Damage Caps Won't Lower Med-Mal Coverage Rates, which also refers to another study done by a consumer group that found medical malpractice insurance premiums track economic cycles and not pay-outs in malpractice cases, which have remained flat for the last decade.
[For Your Lungs Only] If you don't, don't.: The CD is being mastered and the art-work for the CD is being worked on and it is scheduled for a June 15 release. The sound is sort of an Alkaline Trio meets Neil Diamond. It's not only innovative, it blows away anything that has been put out this year. I helped produce the album, along with Shaun's father, "Tommy Q", and also have a guest appearance on a track that we collaborated on called "The Lumberjack".

I noticed that on June 3, 2005, Alexandre Aja's 2003 film Haute Tension will be released in the US. I think it will be dubbed, and it will be released under the literal title High Tension, and not its previous international English title Switchblade Romance.

[Ostimusic.com] John Mackey's Blog: 05/01/2005 - 05/31/2005: This afternoon was the season's final concert at Benaroya Hall (and the Music Director, Huw Edwards's, final concert as their conductor). As much as I grew increasingly homesick with all of the travel this season (Seattle, Tallahassee, Phoenix/Tempe, Dallas, San Antonio, Seattle again, Los Angeles, Lawrence (Kansas), Beaumont, and back to Seattle -- each with a trip back to New York in between), I'm going to miss Seattle. I think I had a hard time here in the beginning because I didn't know my way around at all, but once I figured out places to go running, where to get great coffee, where to get free WiFi, and where to get the best sushi, I started feeling a little more comfortable.

[Roxanne.typepad.com] Rox Populi : Friday Random Ten - Do I Really Own This Shit? Edition: So, I'm pretty satisfied about this one, because some new names and titles are finally appearing and there's slightly more variety than in the previous one: "Meiyou yan chou de rizi" 沒有菸抽的... [Read More]
