http://nickleanddimes.blogspot.com [Nickleanddimes] Hard Habit To Break: I may have started to watch late because when I turned on the set there was only 6 people left (did they televise the entire tourney?). I know that live poker telecasting may only appeal to the die-hard fans/players but I hope last night's coverage is a start of a trend because it gave a true feel to how the pros play hands like K3o from the blinds, rather then AK vs.

http://guinnessandpoker.blogspot.com [Guinnessandpoker.blogspot.com] Party Poker Blog: If the lives of poker pros were comfortable and predictable, such self-reflection wouldn't be necessary. Living, playing and surviving in the crazy, chancy world of poker can assault your sensibilities and I've found many great threads and posts from pro's commenting on the difficulties of 'lasting' and explaining what 'all this means.' Mike Caro perhaps put it best when he singled out two vexing issues, "The most difficult aspects of playing poker professionally are coping emotionally with the losses and coping with the recurring idea that you're not doing anything worthwhile."

Homepokergames.com[Homepokergames.com] POKER PLAYER PROFILES - Gus Hansen: but obviously anyone who knows anything about poker knows that there is definetly some method in there,im guessing because he is a pretty loose player and gives lots of action he also gets lots of action when he holds good cards?!I would love to understand more about his game....its alot more exciting than watching alot of the poker players. If anyone has any insight to his style(though I do know its loose)and strategy please post,im wanting to read some informed opinions. This site is mildly amusing at first, but gets quite boring after reading all these wnnabees slagging off top players.PS-Check out www.cardplayer.com got an interview with gus.

Completerss.com[Completerss.com] CompleteRSS: Hitting these targets every day for this month would be 1,072 SNG's, so I have some leeway...I'm trying to accumulate more at the beginning of the month, because I remember being pretty burned out at the end of February, when I played 600 4-tabling.So far he is up just under $2k after 355 tournaments, which is about $5 per tournament, or $40 per hour playing poker tournaments, a solid win rate for just about any professional player. My win rate when I was playing $30 sit-n-go's "seriously" was $2.20 per tournament, but I don't think I could have kept that up playing eight at a time...
