[Matt's Place] There are nine players and $22.50 goes to the winner. Ive been playing decent poker lately with several money finishes of late, but only mostly ”third place finishes. A third place finish usually wont even double your entry fee, but it keeps you going - no complaints :)
Some slightly related from Technorati and Google.
[Luckyblind's Poker Blog] Kevin 'The Doctor' Horgan: This evil man has obviously been influenced by some dark, dark thoughts. It is thought the victim, aware of this mans past, innocently called this bet expecting to be way ahead of A8 or one the many pairs that have missed this flop. Luckily the victim had enough chips to survive this vicious attack with only slightly less than average chips.
[Sirfwalgman.blogspot.com] Ramblings of a Mad Man (AKA Online Poker Thoughts): I am still not sure if I ever will make any money playing this game. Who knew that people would actually be reading the blog back then. I went around to all the good guys, the Iggs and Paulies of the world and scrounged up links, and slowly, but surely, build up a small loyal following.
[Upforanything.net] Up For Poker Blog: April 2005 Archives: Of course, this the only way I can explain (and, yea verily, accept) the fact that my one-time rush at the large buy-in tournament tables has slid to a grinding and blue-balling halt that has served to turn me into an introspective and often grumpy individual. After six for eight money finishes in tournament with buy-in of more than $150 (including two final table appearances), I have fallen into a hole that I'm fairly sure I dug.
[Parttimepoker.com] Part Time Poker: added some new things to the main site - a pretty funny humor piece that we may develop into a larger site if enough people like it and a new article or two. the site is about to celebrate it's one year anniversary, technically, altho it didn't really exist in current form until about january of this year.
[Provick.ca] tps table talk » The felt is greener”¦: And that’s the gist of it. Most of the tourney rules I use came from http://www.homepokertourney.com/, which is a great resource for making sure you are prepared for whatever comes up in a tourney. One thing I’d recommend is keeping a printed copy of the misdeal rules somewhere, as that’s been handy a few times where I was involved in a hand and had to make a decision on what the redeal procedures were.
