Poker Strategy Pot Odds
[Highroller-Rakeback.com] Well, Pot Odds is the ratio of what is already in the pot to the amount you would have to bet to stay in the hand. So, if there are $36 in the pot, and you would need to bet $6 to stay in the hand, the pot odds are 36 to 6, or 6 to 1.

Implied Odds

Back to the Basics.....Pot Odds
[Rakeback Poker Forum] Basic definition: Pot Odds would be the the ratio between the pot amount in comparison to the bet you are facing. Example: lets say the pot is $200 and your opponent bets $20, your pot odds would be 11 to 1, since you need to call $20 to stay in the pot.

The Last Continent

Pot odds + MTT situation
[Runner-Runner] I did actually fold on the reasoning that I can play a very good short stack game, but was left wondering if I am overestimating my abilities and should just call in that kind of situation when the pot odds dictate a call way behind is still correct. Any thoughts?

How To Calculate Pot Odds
