[WPBT - World Poker Bloggers Tour] The guys over at Noble Poker are hosting a freeroll for my readers and friends on Tuesday May 24th at 9pm EST. Stop by Tao of Poker for more details.
Some slightly related from Technorati and Google.
[Tao of Poker: A Poker Blog] TowneHouse Bon Voyage Saturday Toni hosted a Satu...: If you do, you'll end up clutching the porcelain God at 4am wondering why the hell that cab driver punched you out after you yaked up your dinner and a half a bottle of Southern Comfort in his back seat. Surviving the Sherwood Forest bar at 9am on the morning of the blogger tournament was a moment I'll never forget. It's a badge of courage like a soldier who managed to get through D-Day without a scratch. I'm glad that we made it through an entire weekend of partying in Vegas last December without anyone getting their stomachs pumped at the hospital or landing themselves in the drunk tank at the Clark County jail.
[Drowned at the River] Shout Out!: Dr. Pauly has set up a freeroll tournament over on NoblePoker.com. The software aside, who could resist an event like this where you needn’t pony up any cash, where there will be some payouts, and where you can strut your poker stuff (such as it is, or isn’t) in front of the whole community. I’ll be playing, and I hope to see a good turnout. (41 people registered as of 9:40pm)
[pro-poker-news.net] Poker Players, Bad Beats: The big poker centennial event we are awaiting is the final two days of the 2005 World Series of Poker set to take place on June 14th and 15th at the historic Binion's Casino (formerly Binion's Horseshoe) in downtown Las Vegas. The surviving twenty-seven players will take leave of the Rio Resort and travel downtown for two days of play. The first day downtown the play will continue until the field is trimmed to the nine players making the final table. The second day the nine will play until only one player remains; then, the 2005 WSOP World Champion of Poker will be crowned where it all began many years ago.Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman negotiated this event last year before the start of the 2004 WSOP.

[Poker in the Weeds: Derek's Poker Blog] The Townehouse: I won a big pot with AA-4. Two cards were suited but I hit a boat on the river with another A after my 4 was paired earlier. I took down another big pot from Andy. His favorite line when the bet was to him was, "Why not" and then he would call.
[pro-poker-news.net] Wynn First Look&Poker Prof's FreerollI am very happy: The layout designers remembered that poker players don't like to park very far away from the tables. The poker room has considerable frontage on the concourse and is separated from onlookers by a waist high rail. I like the layout and found the room to be inviting and comfortable. The player chairs are a quantum step above anything else I've seen, actually comfortable. The high limit area is a raised space in the back of the room where big limit players can have a bit of privacy, yet maintain a full view of what's happening inside and outside of the poker room.
[Tao of Poker: A Poker Blog] Hump Day Pimp Day: Hammers, Spoons, Books, Blog Ti...: If you do, you'll end up clutching the porcelain God at 4am wondering why the hell that cab driver punched you out after you yaked up your dinner and a half a bottle of Southern Comfort in his back seat. [Poker Game] A Star Studded PPT and a Stud event at the Mirage: players that participated in another tournament, the Poker Prof's WPBT sanctioned freeroll, a complete... IMG James Wood playing in the PPT. The Professional Poker Tour (PPT) has come to the Mirage Resort... for this freeroll tournament adds a little spice to the mix and makes the event even more exciting
[pro-poker-news.net] Wynn Brings the Future Back to NowThe slack: The star studded cast of players at the final table made for some entertaining television and the young college student, John Stolzman, coming from way behind to win is the reason we all keep playing. Tournament poker success is definitely not limited to the old pros. John was not favored to take the crown in this one, not with the likes of Daniel Negreanu, Chau Giang and Scotty Nguyen, all with larger stacks coming into the final table. The great poker God decided to make a new poker millionaire evidenced by John catching all of his all-ins.
[Pokerintheweeds.blogspot.com] Poker in the Weeds: Derek's Poker Blog: It was his birthday and he had a good shot to win. Otis made a great run at the end and made the final table after being shortstacked. It was great to see Otis play. Spaceman and Bad Blood played well too.
[Pokerintheweeds.blogspot.com] Poker in the Weeds: Derek's Poker Blog: I also wish I had more time to spend at Sam's Town. I would have loved to have played a few hours of poker there after the blogger tourney but I was hungry and tired. I didn't do much gambling my last day though the slots at the airport were slightly tempting for the first time. lol.
[Pokerintheweeds.blogspot.com] Poker in the Weeds: Derek's Poker Blog: Iggy set up another WPBT WSoP satellite but this one's on Noble Poker. It's the third satellite for the WSoP $1500 Event at the Rio in June. One slight difference though .
[Lasvegasvegas.com] Las Vegas Poker and home of the Poker Prof's Blog: Just over 30 images from the two day event where Phil Hellmuth was crowned king of the head's up action after defeating Chris 'Jesus' Ferguson in a best 2 out of three final match-up. See the poker blog entries for more information.
[Lasvegasvegas.com] Las Vegas and Poker Blog -: Professional player, Chip Jett, is originally from Scottsdale, Arizona; but he and his wife, Karina, now live in Las Vegas. By the time Chip had become old enough to legally play in Vegas poker rooms he had already racked up three years of casino poker experience playing in Indian casinos that allow eighteen year olds to play. Chip's introduction to casino poker was as a dealer; but, he soon learned that the real money went to the players, especially the few good players, so he begin playing more and dealing less. A second important decision Chip made concerning his career as a professional poker player was to leave the cash games behind and limit his play to tournaments, exclusively.
