[Dee's Nutz] This is a very marginal push, and I probably should have folded, but since I hadnt seen him make really any marginal calls with hands like J8o unless he had limped already that I figure that he would fold enough to make this profitable. Usually when I make this type of push because I notice they are folding too much they end up calling that hand with J2, but not this time.

[Cardschat.com] Online Poker Blog by Cardschat.com » 2006 » January: A blind steal is when it’s folded to someone in late position preflop, and he comes in with a raise. This can mean that he has a good hand, but it can also mean that he’s holding a hand that he normally wouldn’t raise with (or maybe even enter the pot with at all) but because of his late position, chances are so good that he will just pick up the blinds right there and then that raising yields him positive expectation.
[Thrnewmedia.com] At the poker table » Just play your game: No matter how perfectly y0u play pocket Aces, no matter if you set a trap and reel your fish in, they are never invincible (even against a J2 off suit John H - look - your cash game play made the blog!)Anyway, We are 4 handed and I’m in the big blind.
[Guinnessandpoker.blogspot.com] Party Poker Blog: After all, all that happened was limp, check -- check, check -- check, check -- check, bet, fold. If any of my opponents were to draw a conclusion from what they had seen, it would not be that I had folded a good hand.
[2 Cards, 1 Die] WSOP Satellite Write-Up: Im at 5856 in chips, and my BB starts getting a battering on this new table, where small stacks are all trying to pick up the 300 or double. Playing in low gear, im dropping a fair few weak aces and connector hands. Then as a table is broken, hdouble joins our table.
[thebabykicker Kicks Babies] Improvising a Strategy Against a Hyperaggressive... : This isn't the black Aces I was hoping for, but I've got two (fairly) big tickets, and my concocted strategy for dealing with this guy dictates that I move all in here. I'm way out of my comfort zone here, but the rum helps me move the slider all the way to the right.
