In live tourney and ring games, everytime I hit a great flop, I got outdrawn on the Turn or River. QJs flops the Q and two more spades, and I turn a straight draw - another Spade comes and I'm beat by the K high flush.

[A Fool And His Money] Burned, badly...: I need some time to re-center my poker universe, after probably my worst weekend of poker ever. Variance, a dash of weak-tight tilt, and flat out bad luck came out to eat my entire $200 bonus, plus another $445. In other words, I lost $645 at the tables this weekend, which is only a $445 hit to my bankroll as a result of the $200 bonus (which I've cleared).

[Dnapoker.blogspot.com] My Poker Games: It appears that some of the late night play I did on Sunday night into the morning counted on this weeks VFP hours, because I know I didnt play 10 hours of poker yesterday, but when I checked my VFP page this morning I have 11.8 hours of credit already. My 70 fpps cleared into $14. Here is my current breakdown ....

 [Dnapoker.blogspot.com] My Poker Games: May 2005: I did manage to get onto gamesgrid for about 45 minutes or so and proceeded to 4 table (2 $1/$2 and 2 $2/$4). I profited $20.75 during my 45 minutes and made 35 fpp points which I confirmed were converted into $7 bonus this morning. The VFP page verified I played 1.6 table hours of $1/$2 and 1.8 table hours of $2/$4. So total profit for that 45 minute session was $27.75 plus I accrued $7.80 towards next Sunday nights VFP payment.

My daughter is doing fantastic and it looks like she is going to be the starting pitcher for our team. Its kinda hard being the dad and the head coach because you try not to show favortism. I took a hard look at all of my girls and I believe my daughter has the strongest pitching ability (probably because we practice together more then the other girls do outside of practice).

I'd removed my old ones for the DMV but found my smog test had expired after 90 days (I thought I could sneak by with this technicality, maybe I should've tried the $20 trick), so I now need to get another one done before I can get Nevada plates. Laziness ensued, and I never bothered to reattach the old ones. I seldom see any police presence, so I'm not too worried about getting the test done again anytime soon, at least not while it's hella hot.

I like their software, and have been a loyal supporter so far, but this bad beats and lucky draws are starting to wear on me and make me wonder.
