WPBT Vegas 2 - Conclusion

[Chris Halversons Poker Blog] I was a little nervous about this trip. I’m pretty introverted and I don’t open up too well. Once I get to know people I’m fine, but it’s getting to that point that is tricky for me.

Some slightly related from Technorati and Google.

[Chrishalverson.com] Chris Halverson’s Poker Blog: . Folded to me and I see 99. Shit. Here’s one of “those” hands. My thinking on this hand is that the blinds are going to take half of Miss’s chips, so she could be pushing with any ace or king. She may have a pair, but half the deck is lower than mine. I also am probably not going to get a better hand before I’m forced to post half my chips. I’m enough away from the money that just surviving is not a big deal. Screw it, I didn’t come to Vegas to fold.

[Oddjack.com] Oddjack's Guide to the Web: Having went to bed early on Thursday night allowed me to wake up feeling pretty well rested on Friday morning. Mrs_Blood and I were looking to score some breakfast, but there was a major catastrophe causing our delay.

[Skyseastone.net] Blog, Jvstin Style: General Archives: Anyway, Californians seem to believe as a general rule that snow and cold are things to visit rather than experience. Its kind of sad, really, and they really do complain at temperatures that would make a New Yorker laugh, to say nothing of my friends in Michigan and Minnesota. 50 degrees is NOT cold and yet my co-workers complained the other day as we toured the finally finished physical plant because the plant is open to the outside air and a raw wind came through.

[Cardsspeak.blogspot.com] Poker Blog: my wife's friend has (finally) left after 3 weeks, and I get some time to let my thoughts unfold, and reflect them. I have a deeply introverted streak, and if I'm around people all the time for an extended period of time, my brain turns to mush.
